What Happens When We Arrive
Our technician arrives with all necessary professional equipment — a portable hydrogen peroxide encapsulation unit, specialized applicators, groomers, and moisture extraction tools. Before we begin, the technician performs a detailed carpet inspection. We assess fiber type, evaluate high-traffic areas, identify existing stains (particularly pet urine), check for carpet seams and delicate zones, and discuss any special concerns with you.
This pre-cleaning walkthrough takes 10-15 minutes and is crucial. The OxyMagic Cleaning Process Step by Step
Step 1: Pre-treatment. High-traffic areas, pet stains, and stubborn spots receive a pre-application of our hydrogen peroxide solution. This allows the solution to break down deeply embedded soils before the main cleaning pass. Step 2: Main application. Using our specialized encapsulation equipment, we apply the Green Seal certified hydrogen peroxide solution in controlled amounts. The solution breaks down dirt particles at the molecular level and encapsulates them for complete removal.
Step 3: Grooming. Using professional carpet grooming tools, we brush and agitate carpet fibers to lift the encapsulated soil and orient the pile for optimal drying and appearance. This also helps distribute the solution evenly for consistent results. Step 4: Moisture extraction. We use our extraction equipment to remove excess moisture from the carpet. The key difference from steam cleaning: we use far less water to begin with, so there is far less to extract.
After We Leave — What to Expect
