For nine years, our family chose to use Oxymagic Carpet Cleaning in our own home. We initially chose Oxymagic because we had three young children and liked the greener approach. We also had three dogs, so we needed a service that really worked.
We were always impressed with the results. When we learned the franchise owners were considering selling we were interested. I already owned a commercial cleaning business and my son Daven was attending college for entrepreneurship, so it was an obvious good fit.
My son and I are now business partners and co-owners of this business. We love helping people and providing a service they can feel good about.

Who Is OxyMagic Carpet Cleaning?
OxyMagic Carpet Cleaning is a locally owned and operated carpet cleaning company based in Blaine, Minnesota. OxyMagic has served the northern Minneapolis metro for 18 years; the Malark family has been your local owner since 2024. We serve homeowners, renters, landlords, property managers, and businesses across Blaine, Ham Lake, Circle Pines, Lino Lakes, Coon Rapids, Andover, and the broader northern Minneapolis metro area.
We are part of the OxyMagic franchise network — the only carpet cleaning franchise in the United States with a Green Seal certified cleaning product. That certification isn't just a badge. The Oxymagic Story
Since 1998
In the 1970's a bonnet cleaning method was introduced — which resulted in distorted carpet fibers and really didn't pull much dirt out of the carpet.
In 1998 Oxymagic Carpet Cleaning revolutionized carpet cleaning! We use a SAFER cleaner we developed for EXCLUSIVE use by our franchise owners. Our unique carpet cleaner and machine deliver results you can feel good about.
How Does OxyMagic Clean Differently?
Most carpet cleaning companies use one of two methods: hot water extraction (steam cleaning) or dry chemical cleaning. Both have significant drawbacks. Steam cleaning saturates your carpets with water, takes 12-24 hours to dry, and creates conditions for mold and mildew growth. Dry chemical cleaning uses harsh solvents that leave residue and strong odors.
OxyMagic uses a third approach: hydrogen peroxide–based encapsulation technology. Our proprietary Green Seal certified process uses a hydrogen peroxide–based solution to break down dirt, stains, and allergens at the molecular level. The result is a deeper clean that:
