When to Put Furniture Back After Carpet Cleaning
Furniture should not be returned according to a universal clock. Damp carpet, wood stain, metal rust, furniture finish, weight, airflow, protective tabs, and concentrated treatments can affect timing and placement.
Prevent Dye, Finish, and Rust Transfer
Wood, metal, painted feet, particleboard, and upholstered bases can transfer color, rust, or finish when placed on damp carpet. Use approved blocks or tabs where directed and do not remove them early.
Protect Carpet and Furniture Construction
Heavy pieces can slow airflow or leave impressions, and dragging can disturb pile or seams. Some items require customer movers or should remain in place because of weight, fragility, electronics, contents, or assembly.
